Bute (Phenylbutazone) one of the best joint supplement

          Bute (or Phenylbutazone) is primarily used for the short-term treatment to relieve musculoskeletal pain and anti-inflammatory medication commonly used for the treatment or supplement of lameness in equines. It belongs to a group of
medications known as NSAID which stands for non steroidal anti inflammatory drug same banamine.

         Bute Supplements comes in an injectable liquid for intravenous dosing and mostly in oral forms such as tablets and powder. Bute is often a favorite choice of horse owners because it is less expensive than other anti inflammatory drugs and convenient because it is only given once or twice a day.

         If used correctly, bute is a powerful and very effective for the treatment.  Nevertheless, its use is limited by side effects such as suppression of white blood cell production, anemia and diarrhea. There are still other side effects associated with this horse supplement. It can cause bleeding in the gastrointestinal tract and esophagus. In addition, it can also cause liver, kidney and intestinal diseases such as kidney failure can occur. Therefore, horse owners should be well aware of the health risks in horse associated with this medication and should be ultrasound sometimes to identify the effect if any on the kidney.
